Lightning Minerals Ltd (ASX:L1M) managing director Alex Biggs joins Jonathan Jackson in the Proactive studio to discuss initial results from its reconnaissance activities at the Dalmas and Hiver lithium projects in Quebec, Canada. The company has analytical results from 32 samples, identifying multiple pegmatites that will direct future exploration efforts. It is now awaiting the summer season in Canada to kick in and is planning its next stage of field activities. Biggs describes the potential of the projects, particularly in relation to its proximity to significant lithium discoveries, including the Corvette project by Patriot Battery Metals and the Adina project by Winsome Resources. Finally, Biggs talks about the plans to come for these projects.
“Current results will give us a greater understanding of how we can unlock the potential of Dalmas and Hiver which are located in one of the world’s premier lithium provinces,” Biggs said. “Consider this work as an incremental step in gaining an understanding of what will be the most appropriate path forward to identifying the potential at Dalmas and Hiver and we believe that the underlying geology represents significant opportunity.”
